The subject gives a survey of phase transformations which are important for treatment of metallic materials. Crystallization of alloys, as well as solid state phase transformations of steels and non-ferrous metals, are described.

describe the mechanisms of crystallization and phase transformations in solid state.

Describe and apply processes during crystallization of metals and alloys.
