Annotation -
The subject is focused on the characterization of main groups of products based on polymeric materials, especially fibers, adhesives, wrapping, products in engineering, boot and rubber industry. An attention is focused on recycling of polymeric waste.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

  • orient themselves in the field of polymer selection for particular aplications,

characterize the properties of these materials, ecological aspect of their processing and recycling,

  • have the knowledge of waste plastics processing
  • have the knowledge of particular types of recycling technologies , including classification, separation and the conditions for their using.
