Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to acquaint the students with the issues of registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemical substances (REACH) on the theoretical (EU, Czech) legislation as well as the practical level. REACH is currently a major EU chemicals management tool and REACH workers are required in all major but also in many medium and small businesses, not only with a focus on chemical production. Teaching takes place once a week or block.

Students will be able to orientate in basic aspects of REACH, they will know the mechanisms of poisons and substances important in occupational and industrial toxicology.

1. Úvod do problematiky - management chemických látek, legislativa

2. Klasifikace látek - kategorie nebezpečnosti na základě údajů o fyzikálně-chemických vlastnostech, toxicitě a ekotoxicitě.

Registrace - OSOR, podání registrace jedním či více subjekty, SIEF, výpočet nákladů a jejich dělení mezi jednotlivé

registranty.

3. Metody pro hodnocení vlastností chemických látek - rozdělení, výběr vhodných metod, alternativní testy toxicity

4. Vyhodnocení dat - statistické zpracování dat (indexy NOEC, LOEC, EC50/LC50), interpretace získaných výsledků, Klimish score

5. SLP - přednáška externisty

6. Autorizace a restrikce - identifikace SVHC látek, proces autorizace, SEA, metodiky zvážení benefity vs rizika, substituce

látek, dopady na dodavatelský řetězec

7. Klasifikace, označování a balení chemických látek či směsí (CLP) - povinnosti výrobce, dovozce či spotřebitele, P-věty,

H-věty, symboly nebezpečnosti

8. Bezpečnostní listy - ukázka BP, zisk a výběr dat, pravidla pro tvorbu BL, Expoziční scénáře, analýza rizik

10 a 11. Exkurze (SZÚ, soukromá firma)

12. Samostatný projekt (studenti ve skupinách řeší zadaný úkol napříč sylabem), konzultace
