1. Basic data about world-wide polymer production, history and future trends, ecological aspects, source base of polymer chemistry. 2. Basic types of polymerization reactors, basic types of polymerization process. Polymerization in monomer phase (bulk). 3. Suspension polymerization, emulsion polymerization. C2 fraction-manufacture and utlization of ethylene. C3 fraction -manufacture and utilization of propylene. 4. Polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, UHMWPE). Ethylene copolymers. Chemical modifications of polyethylene. 5. Polypropylene and its copolymers. C4 fraction, butenes, buta-1,3-diene. Polymers and copolymers of isobutene, cycloalkene polymerization. 6.
