Principles of regulation of transfer of genetic information and its variability due to mutations and recombination Mechanisms involved in mutation repair. Basic processes of gene expression as regulation of transcription, in prokaryotes and eukaryotes and posttranscriptional modifications of eukaryotic mRNA, regulation of stability of mRNA and translation, role of small RNAs.
