Annotation -
Laboratory complement subject "Technology of crude oil I". The aim of the laboratory is to familiarize students with selected technological processes used in petroleum processing. Students carry out a technological process, determine the properties of raw materials and the gained products and evaluate the changes that have occurred during the process.

Syllabus -

The course consists of laboratory tests, which are focused on the production and evaluation of main refinery products. The student must complete the following work.

1. Refining of mineral oils (3 days)

2. Oxidation of bitumen (3 days)

3. Testing of lubricating oils (1 day)

4. Rating petrol (1 day)

5. Rating diesel fuel (2 days)

6. Reforming of naphtha using micro reactor pulse technique (2 days)
