Students will gain practically utilizable information on modern separation techniques, specifically liquid, gas, and supercritical chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, and mass spectrometry. Principles of the methods will be summarized. Then modern instruments will be shown and troubleshooting discusses. The practical case studies will be analyzed in detail and a potential of modern instrumentation for solution of complex analytical tasks will be demonstrated. Each student will receive a specific topic to cover in its bibliographic search and he/she will prepare presentation for the peers.
