    The study is aimed at acquiring general and specific knowledge of the relationship between water and the environment. It deals with the composition of surface, groundwater and wastewater and their analytical monitoring, microbiology, water treatment for drinking purposes and the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater. Emphasis is also placed on smart technologies and legislation in water management. A great benefit is also the acquisition of practical skills acquired through the active participation of students in the laboratories. The course is addressed for staff working in the field of water management and environmental protection. The aim of the study is to further improve the qualification or retraining of professional, technical and managerial staff.

    The study is focused on obtaining general and special information about the relationship between water and the environment, the problems of its protection and ways of solving them. Individual subjects are taught by members of the Institute of Water and Environmental Technology.
