Students will be able to:

Understand the biological, chemical and engineering processes in the biotechnology industry

Describe and evaluate basic biocatalytic processes.

Quantitatively evaluate experimental data of processes catalyzed by biological elements and to carry out heat and mass balances of biotechnological processes.

Design mixing and aeration equipment of bioreactors.
